چکیده

This article evaluated the effects of supplemental probiotic Bacillus subtilis (Bs) ATCC 6051a (1.6x109cfu/mL) in diets for weaned piglets on their performance and occurrence diarrhoea. Sixty piglets, 30 ±3 days old with initial bodyweight 8.41±0.92 kg, were allotted randomly to six pens ten piglets. There two replicates each treatment, namely a control diet (C), supplemented 1% Bs (E1), 3% (E2). Feed was provided ad libitum as flour meals per day. materials examined total numbers fungi, aerobic mesophilic bacteria (TNG), Coliforms, Escherichia coli Salmonella spp. The addition did not influence (P >0.05) (BW) or average daily weight gain (ADWG). However, across experimental period ADWG greater E2 E1 than C (>1.12 1.08 times compared C). intake (ADFI) by pigs fed E2. efficiency higher diet. Addition decreased (P<0.05) diarrhoea around 8% C, 4% Bs. A 23.4% produced soft faeces. Diarrhoea scores 2 (mild diarrhoea) 3 (severe observed 43.75% 32.81% pigs. No differences detected between treatments. results suggested that could positively affect growth mitigate

Insoluble nonstarch polysaccharides in diets for weaned piglets.

To examine the effect of inclusion insoluble nonstarch polysaccharides (iNSP) in weaned diets on postweaning piglet performance, intestinal activity, and microbial composition 2 experiments were designed. In Exp. 1, 180 piglets were weaned at 28 d of age and divided over 3 treatments: positive control (PC; highly digestible protein), negative control (NC; standard cereal-based diet), and an exp...

Application of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens as probiotic for Litopenaeus vannamei (Boone, 1931) cultivated in a biofloc system

Probiotics can improve growth, survival and resistance to pathogenic organisms of the cultivated species in aquaculture systems with water recirculation. However, their possible benefits on biofloc systems have been less studied. In this study, the benefits of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens bacterium, on a biofloc culture of Litopenaeus vannamei were evaluated. B. amyloliquefaciens was applied as d...

critical period effects in foreign language learning:the influence of maturational state on the acquisition of reading, writing, and grammar in english as a foreign language

since the 1960s the age effects on learning both first and second language have been explored by many linguists and applied linguists (e.g lennerberg, 1967; schachter, 1996; long, 1990) and the existence of critical period for language acquisition was found to be a common ground of all these studies. in spite of some common findings, some issues about the impacts of age on acquiring a second or...

Effects of antibacterial peptide on cellular immunity in weaned piglets.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of antibacterial peptide (ABP) sufficiency on cellular immune functions by determining the spleen cell cycle and apoptosis, peripheral blood T cell subsets, and T cell proliferation function in weaned piglets. A total of 90 piglets (Duroc × Landrace × Yorkshire) of both sexes were randomly allotted to 5 dietary treatments. Each treatment consist...
